- Event Name
- Event Status and Test Mode
- Event Start/End Dates and Cut-off Date
- Attendee Verification Settings
- Registration Site Menu and Style Template
- Event Time Zone and Currency
- Group Travel Notifications
- Attendee Verification Language

Enter the formal name of your event to be used on listings and in emails. (required field)
Set the Event Status to Active when the event is created. Mark the event Completed to remove it from the Active Events Listing.
Set the Site Mode to Test while you are creating and testing the site. You will be able to delete test registration records only while in Test Mode.
Change the Site Mode to Live when you launch the site. The site must be in Live Mode for Group Travel emails to be sent.
Event Start/End Dates and Cut-Off Date
Use the calendar to select the Start Date, End Date and Last Date to Register.
The site will close for new registrations after the cut-off date, but attendees will still be able to view the event information on the other pages.
Start Time, End Time and Event Location are optional fields.
Attendee Verification Settings
These settings allow you to manage how people will register for the event.
Refer to Attendee Verification Settings article for instructions on how to set up these features based on your event needs.
Duplicate registration check
This feature requires users to have to enter an email or other id number so that the system can check to see if they have already registered before continuing.
Select Yes for an email address look-up before allowing the registrant to proceed. If an existing registration is found for that email address, the user will be allowed to edit or cancel their existing registration. (Recommended)
Select No if you want attendees to view the registration form without an email address look-up.
New registration with same email
This feature controls whether the same email address can be used more than once for a registration.
Select Yes to allow multiple registrations using the same contact email.
For example, one person could register multiple colleagues and receive all of the email confirmations. This contact person will be able to access all of the registrations connected to their email address and be able to add a new registrant, export a list of their registrants or edit/cancel individual records.
Select No if you do not want to allow multiple registrations using the same email address.
Require Invitation to register
Select No if registration is open to anyone who receives the link to the registration site.
Select Yes if registration is limited to a pre-approved attendee list. Registrants will be prompted to enter their email address, employee ID or other unique identifier in order to register. The invited guest list must be uploaded in the Invitees tab before opening registration.
Site Menu and Style (Banner and Site Colors)
Select Left, Right, Top or Off to update the menu bar position on your site pages.
Left Menu Position Example:
Top Menu Position Example:
Use the Style drop down listing to select a template for your site. The Style template includes the artwork banner and colors for your site. New sites will be created using the default template for your organization.
Refer to Template / Style Set up for additional information on changing the banner artwork or colors of your site.
To change the banner artwork or the colors of your site, create a New Style in the Template -> Styles section, then return to the Event Set up Page to select the style.
Emails From Settings
The email address entered here will be used to send registration confirmations to the attendees.
Additional email configuration options are available in the Emails section.
Event Time Zone and Currency Settings
Enter the time zone, time and date formats, and currency settings here. These settings will be used for date and time-stamping registrations as they are received.
When the Email Group Travel feature is enabled, a notification is sent to your organization’s travel contact when a registrant requests air travel.
This notification can be customized based on your organization’s air travel booking procedures.
The site mode must be set to Live in order for group travel emails to be sent out.
Attendee Verification Language
Provide additional instructions for the Verification Process in the Attendee Verification Language section.
These instructions will appear as the first step on the Registration tab.
The Duplicate Registration check must be set to Yes in order for this page to appear.
