These settings allow you to manage how people will register for the event. Update these settings in the Event Info tab.
SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
These features need to be set up as follows based on the event requirements:
Step 1. Will the Invitees feature be used to limit registration to a list of invited guests?
IF YES, update settings as follows:
- Duplicate Registration Check = Yes
- New Registration with same email = No
- Require Invitation to Register = Yes

The Invitees list must be uploaded prior to opening registration.
IF NO, update settings as follows:
- Require Invitation to Register = No
- Proceed to Step 2 for additional options.
Anyone with access to the registration link will be able to register.
Step 2: Will attendees be allowed to register multiple people using the same email address? (i.e. one person managing registration for a group of colleagues)
IF YES, update as follows:
- Duplicate Registration Check = Yes
- New Registration with same email = Yes
- Require Invitation to Register = No
This will allow one person to manage the registration records for their group - i.e. add new registrants, edit or cancel registrations.

IF NO, update as follows:
- Duplicate Registration Check = Yes
- New Registration with same email = No
- Require Invitation to Register = No
This will allow attendees to edit or cancel their existing registration record only.

Step 3: The recommended setting for Duplicate Email Check is Yes. The attendee will enter their email address to begin the registration process.
If you don't want to utilize this feature, update as follows:
- Duplicate Registration Check = No
- New Registration with same email = not applicable
- Require Invitation to Register = No
When the Duplicate Registration Check feature is not used, the New Registration with same email and Require Invitation to Register features will not be available. These features require an email address look-up as the first step.
You will need to monitor your registration records to manage any duplicates. Attendees will not be able to access their existing registration record to edit.
