Can a DATE SELECT field default to Select One?

The answer is YES, a DATE SELECT field can default to SELECT ONE.  There are times when you need to use a date select field for a check in or check out due to a large range of dates available to select.  Here is how you make this field still default to SELECT ONE:

STEP 1: In the FORM FIELD MANAGEMENT (when you click on edit for a Field), enter zeroes in the DEFAULT DATE field using the below format.  Note: You must use the YYYY-MM-DD format or you will receive errors on your form
