Confirmation emails are sent the first any time a registration is submitted from the front end site. Sometimes an admin would like the registrant to receive an email confirmation even when they are either adding them to the system or editing their registration.
For an an email confirmation to be sent to a registrant, there are two scenarios:
- FRONT END REGISTRATION - If you create their registration from the front end by going to the link you send out and entering their email address and registering them that way, An email confirmation is sent to the email address entered in the email field.
- MANUAL SEND BY ADMIN - If you are editing an existing registration and want them to receive an email confirmation, then you would remove the end of the URL "&action=edit" by highlighting that text and hitting delete, then hit enter and the system will send a confirmation without that tag "&action=edit" included in the URL:
